Our most heartfelt prayer and biggest challenge is the sustainable building project described on the projects page. A wind turbine costs $5,000, as do the solar panel building and installation. Remodeling the trailer will cost approx. $50,000 which will include a retro-fit of straw bale, the wrap around deck and sun-space. Hands-on workshops will be led by Henry Red Cloud and Sustainable Nations that will lead to enhanced self-sufficiency in these, and other young people who will be involved in helping with this project. They will be able to provide maintenance on the turbine and solar panels as the need arises. Additionally, they are gaining new knowledge that will be helpful for continuing education and eco-friendly job skills.
